There would be a misconception that rural development is simply increasing agricultural productivity. In addition it means improving rural business enterprises, rural transportation and communication systems, preparing the rural communities to improve their minds, health, homes and villages. In other words it means assisting rural community areas to support themselves and to move forward economically, socially and culturally thereby improving the quality of life.
